Welcome back!  I’m so excited to begin this new school year.  God has been so faithful to provide for our school.  We see His provision in our student body, our faculty, and the blessings He has showered on WCS!  We have a record number of students in our 7th-12th grades this year.  Even in the midst of this tough economy, our enrollment remains strong. 

God has blessed us with new faculty and staff.  Mr. Joseph Thomas is joining our staff as our Chemistry/Physical Science teacher.  Mr. Thomas has his Masters Degree and is certified in General Science.  We also are welcoming back Mrs. Robbie Lancaster as Admissions Counselor.  Mrs. Lancaster, a certified guidance counselor, comes back to us after an 8-year absence.  She will be responsible for school tours, new students, and marketing our juniors and seniors to college.  Mr. Matt Kennedy has joined our administrative staff as Assistant Principal responsible for discipline and 4th-6th grades.

Our theme for this year is “Love the Lord your God with all of your heart, your soul, your strength, and your mind and love your neighbor as yourself.” Luke 10:27  In keeping with this theme, all of the students in 7th-12th grades will be required to perform community service outside of school hours.  We believe that this is vital in “training Warriors for Christ!”
